Subaru Tops Consumer Reports' Brands of 2022

Every year, Consumer Reports releases its list of top automotive brands, based on safety, efficiency and performance. Included in the report are road-test scores, owner satisfaction, safety, and reliability, achieving a score on an overall scale of 100. The higher the number the better the brand, and for 2022, no brand is higher than Subaru.

In fact, Subaru is the only automotive manufacturer to surpass 80, landing at 81 to claim the lead ranking. It unseated last year's winner Mazda as the top performing, most reliable and safest vehicle on the road.
