Subaru Earns 2025 IIHS Safety Awards

Subaru continues to set the standard for safety, with the Subaru Solterra, Ascent, and Forester earning prestigious IIHS Top Safety Pick (TSP) awards. The all-electric Solterra secured the highest Top Safety Pick+ (TSP+) rating, marking its third consecutive year of top honours. The 2025 Subaru Ascent and 2025 Subaru Forester — including the all-new Forester Hybrid —  also received Top Safety Pick awards, reinforcing Subaru’s reputation for uncompromising safety and reliability.


For 2025, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) introduced stricter crash testing standards, particularly in the moderate overlap front crash test, which now evaluates rear passenger protection. Subaru’s award-winning EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, standard on all three models, played a crucial role in achieving these top ratings.
